Our Story
The Vision Behind Restorative Roots Counseling
Restorative Roots Counseling was founded and is led by Cecil Davison, LPC.
The practice was created to offer a more personal, grounded approach to mental health care - one that values the therapeutic relationship as the foundation for meaningful change.
A Relational, Collaborative Approach
Cecil's clinical style is warm, conversational, and collaborative. His work is informed by Adlerian therapy, an approach that emphasizes encouragement, personal responsibility, and practical insight. Sessions are not scripted or formulaic; instead, they are shaped by each client's the individual needs and goals.
The focus is on creating a space where clients feel understood and able to explore their experiences while building meaningful, lasting change.
